FBI ARRESTS THOMAS MARKLE SR IN FLORIDA

Images show FBI agents leading Thomas Markle Sr away in handcuffs from a care home in Tampa, Florida, amid allegations that he possessed child sexual abuse images. Markle, Meghan Markle’s father, left the care home in a wheelchair. He has denied the allegations, calling them “sick lies”. His son, Thomas Markle Jr, claimed he had found child sexual abuse images and reported his father to authorities in the Philippines last month.

Accounts differ over the location of the material linked to the allegations, identifying a storage unit in Mexico and Markle Sr’s former home in the Philippines. Four boxes of material allegedly recovered from the Philippines property went to authorities last week. The boxes allegedly contained computers, mobile phones, hard drives and old video tapes. Jonvic Remulla, the Philippines’ interior and local government secretary, told a press conference in Manila on 5 November that investigators had uncovered more than 7,000 photographs and one video.

Markle Sr previously said the computers had not been in his possession since he left Mexico with his son in 2025. He said he moved overseas “for a fresh start”. He moved to Cebu in the Philippines last year before returning to the United States. He subsequently lived in Florida, having returned to America for rehabilitation following surgery in which he had a leg amputated last December.
