BRIDGET NORRIS FILES FOR DIVORCE FROM BREAKING BAD STAR DEAN NORRIS
Bridget Norris has filed for divorce from Breaking Bad actor Dean Norris, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents. The filing was made on 14 February 2025, with Bridget listing 15 January 2025 as the couple's separation date. The two married in 2001; accounts of the marriage's length differ, citing either 23 or 24 years. Bridget has requested joint custody of the couple's two youngest children, named as Zoe and Dean Jr, while the pair also share three adult children. She has also asked for spousal support and for the court to divide the couple's property and assets. The divorce has not been finalised.
Dean and Bridget also filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September, seeking to restructure debts tied to their restaurant. The couple bought the Swing Inn Café in Temecula, California, in 2022 for a reported $1.3 million. Court filings list the company's assets at $147,809.58 against liabilities of $1,811,598.46. The café, which first opened in 1927, was turned by the couple into a barbecue restaurant that also serves breakfast.
Dean Norris is best known for playing DEA agent Hank Schrader in Breaking Bad between 2008 and 2013, a role he reprised in the spin-off series Better Call Saul. His other credits include Total Recall, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Claws and Under the Dome. Norris, who rarely discusses his private life, previously told USA Today that steady work had let him support his family. "I never had a month or so go by where I haven't had a job, but you always worry that someone will turn off the tap," he said. "I'm a guy who acts to live."
