JUDGES ELIMINATE LAWRENCE ROBB FROM STRICTLY COME DANCING
Judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood voted to eliminate Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystal from Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday. They faced Jaime Winstone with Carlos Gu and Bethany Antonia with Nancy Xu in the BBC programme's first three-couple dance-off. The three pairs faced elimination after receiving the lowest combined judges' scores and public votes. Motsi Mabuse did not need her casting vote and said she would also have eliminated Robb and Przystal.
The judges gave Robb and Przystal 26 out of 40 on Saturday for their tango to Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr. Antonia and Xu scored 30 for their Fifth Harmony jive I'm In Love With A Monster, while Winstone and Gu scored 27 for their Scissor Sisters salsa Filthy/Gorgeous. Lacey Turner and Vito Coppola led the Week 6 leaderboard on 36, ahead of John Nellis and Katya Jones on 35. Cach Mercer with Maddie Ingoldsby and Delta Goodrem with Kai Widdrington scored 33, while Dani Dyer with Nikita Kuzmin and Will Best with Diane Buswell scored 32. Tabby Stoecker with Mark Karmalita and Graeme Hall with Lauren Oakley scored 25 and avoided the dance-off.
Emmerdale actor Robb and Przystal became the fifth couple to leave the 2026 series. Robb told presenter Emma Willis: "I've got my mum and dad here, I got to dance for mum and dad again." He also told Przystal: "I made a mistake and my head's in the clouds." Sunday's results broadcast featured music from Becky Hill and voice work by Sir Ian McKellen for the professional dancers' routine. Strictly Come Dancing will return to a two-couple dance-off for the rest of the series.
