MK DONS BEAT DONCASTER ROVERS 6-1 AT STADIUM MK
Aaron Collins scored four goals as MK Dons beat Doncaster Rovers 6-1 at Stadium MK in League One. Collins opened the scoring after two minutes, his 10th league goal of the season, then doubled his tally in the 22nd minute. Jordan Thomas pulled a goal back for Doncaster in the 64th minute. Collins completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute and added a fourth seven minutes later. Callum Paterson and Marvin Ekpiteta scored MK Dons' fifth and sixth goals late on to complete the win.
Paterson converted a rebound in the 81st minute after Doncaster goalkeeper Tommy Simkin had saved from Charlie Goode, and Ekpiteta added the sixth goal in the 89th minute after Paterson's shot struck the post. MK Dons had gone into the match in 14th place in League One, with Doncaster three points worse off in 18th. The win followed a 4-1 victory over Bromley earlier in the week, in which Archie Collins scored twice for MK Dons. Doncaster had lost three of their previous four league matches, including a 3-1 defeat at Luton Town.
MK Dons, managed by Paul Warne, had taken nine points from a possible 12 since beating Luton Town 2-1 for their first league win of the season on 17 October. Doncaster, managed by Grant McCann, had won only two of their six away league matches this season and sat two points above the League One relegation zone. The result was MK Dons' first win over Doncaster since a 2-1 victory in August 2023, and the clubs' first competitive meeting since February 2025. Doncaster had won two and drawn one of their previous three meetings with MK Dons.
