A 15-year-old boy has died four weeks after a collision between his off-road electric motorbike and a car in Bradford. Harley Hartley was riding along School Street in Bierley when he was involved in a collision with a black Audi S3 at around 5.30pm on 1 October. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries and received treatment for four weeks before he died on 28 October. West Yorkshire Police confirmed officers were called to the scene on the day of the collision. His mother has paid tribute to him, describing the family's grief in the days following his death.
Harley's mother said she had been "left numb, broken-hearted, every emotion you could ever feel" since his death. She said: "I always longed for a boy and after three girls I finally got him, my life felt complete. Chunky 9lb 2oz blue eyed boy. He would do anything for anyone, all you had to do was ask. My son, the light of my life, you knew exactly how to play me to get anything and everything you wanted. You will forever be my number one, I got you son always, love Mum."
