ROBERT RAJHPAUL SAYS HE IS HOMELESS IN £1.2M WILL DISPUTE WITH SISTER

THU 05 NOV 2026

An actor says he is "homeless" after being cut out of his late mother's will, in a £1.2 million inheritance dispute with his sister. Robert Rajhpaul said his mother, Milda Rajhpaul, died in 2024, leaving an estate that includes a £900,000 home in Askew Crescent, Hammersmith. His sister, Precious Rajhpaul, lived with their mother in her later years and was left the entire estate under an August 2023 will. Robert told Central London County Court that he and his dog, Twinkle, are living in temporary homeless accommodation. Precious is defending the will and counter-suing for a ruling that it is valid.

Robert claims his mother lacked the mental capacity to make the 2023 will and that it was "procured through undue influence." He told Judge Nigel Gerald: "Precious changed the locks on the door and didn't let any family member see my mother." Robert also claims his sister arranged for their mother's cremation, against their mother's wish for a "Christian burial." He said an earlier will, made in 1993, had split the estate equally between the siblings. Precious rejects the claims that she pressured their mother. Her barrister, Nicola Phillipson, told the court that Robert's case has "no prospect of success."

Robert, who trained at RADA and the Actors Studio at Pinewood, said Hattie Jacques, star of the Carry On films, inspired him to act after watching him play a wise man in his school nativity. He has qualifications in screen combat, weapons handling and horse riding. He represented himself in court without a lawyer. The will names Precious as sole executor of their mother's estate, and the case remains before Central London County Court.
