SOPHIE CUNNINGHAM SAYS FBI IS WATCHING ABOUT 20 PEOPLE
Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham said she believes the FBI is watching about 20 people because of concerns for her safety. Speaking on *This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von*, she said her growing public profile had brought unwanted attention. “I like have, I think 20 people kind of that the FBI are watching for me, me alone,” Cunningham said. She did not identify most of the people she had in mind or give details of what the FBI was doing.
Cunningham named Kevin Singh, an Indianapolis man who faces charges linked to allegations that he stalked her and sent threatening and explicit social media messages. She said his name was already public knowledge. Cunningham told investigators on 22 June 2026 that she did not know Singh, had never replied to his messages and wanted the contact to stop. Authorities arrested Singh the following day, and the account of his case said he remained at Marion County Jail on a $40,000 cash bond.
At a hearing on 10 July, Singh’s lawyer sought to reduce the bond to $2,000. Prosecutors asked Judge Helen Marchal to raise it to $100,000, but Marchal kept it at $40,000. Prosecutors also sought a temporary hold without bail while they pursued a probation matter in Hendricks County. They requested restrictions involving Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home detention and GPS monitoring if Singh gained release.
