TIKTOK CREATOR MARCEL JOHNSON DIES AGED 32 AFTER CANCER BATTLE

TikTok creator Marcel Johnson has died at the age of 32 following a battle with stomach cancer. His wife, Taylor Johnson, announced his death in a post on Instagram, saying he died at 4.45pm on 2 November. Marcel, a father of five, was diagnosed with cancer in August 2025 and had used social media to share updates on his illness and treatment over the following months. Taylor said his final words to her and his younger brother, Dedric, were "I'm ready to go," spoken on the morning before he died. She wrote that he continued to fight to hang on through the day, giving the family "a bit more time" together.

In her tribute, Taylor described losing "a whole entire half" of herself and said Marcel had fought for a long time despite being exhausted and in pain. She wrote: "I truly don't even have words right now. I feel like this can't be real life... I love him with my whole entire being and life will absolutely never ever be the same." The couple had recently taken a trip to California together, which followers referenced in messages of condolence after the announcement. Marcel had built a following on TikTok by documenting his cancer journey publicly.

Taylor's post drew a large number of responses from followers who had followed the couple's story during his illness. One supporter wrote that they had followed the family's journey and that their "heart aches" for Taylor, offering "love & prayers." Others recalled the pair's recent holiday photographs together and praised Marcel for sharing his experience openly during his treatment. Tributes continued to be posted on social media following the announcement of his death.
