TANKER STRUCK BY TWO PROJECTILES NEAR SAUDI ARABIA

A tanker was struck by two unidentified projectiles on its port side late on Sunday while travelling south-east through the Gulf, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations agency said, citing a report from the vessel's master. The vessel was 72 nautical miles east of Saudi Arabia's Ras Al Khafji when it was hit at 23:47 UTC on 1 November.

UKMTO said all crew members were accounted for and that no environmental impact had been reported. Authorities were investigating, and the agency advised vessels in the area to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity.
