JAKE PAUL CONFIRMS DUBAI BOXING RETURN FOR 24 DECEMBER

THU 29 OCT 2026

Jake Paul has confirmed that he will return to boxing in Dubai on 24 December. He has not named an opponent. The fight will be his first since Anthony Joshua stopped him in Miami in December. Paul announced the date on Thursday, saying: “I’m returning to the ring in Dubai to start the next chapter of my journey.” He said the defeat had not changed his belief in what he was working towards.

Paul held a 12-1 professional boxing record before facing Joshua, a former world heavyweight champion. Joshua stopped him in the sixth round. Paul broke his jaw in the fight and subsequently underwent surgery, prompting questions about whether he would box again. His previous opponents include former UFC fighters Nate Diaz, Ben Askren and Mike Perry, as well as former UFC champions Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley. Paul beat Diaz and Silva on points, stopped Perry and beat Woodley twice, first on points and then by stoppage.

Paul said his team had several potential opponents in mind for the Dubai fight. “We’ve got plenty of names on the list; let’s see who signs the contract,” he said. He described Dubai as a place where he wanted to make his comeback. The identity of his opponent remains the main detail to be confirmed before the December bout.
