MEGHAN TAKES JUNIOR MASTERCHEF AUSTRALIA HOSTING ROLE

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is set to host the next series of Junior MasterChef Australia. She said of accepting the role: “It was an easy yes!” Filming is scheduled to take place in Melbourne over several weeks in early 2027. The role follows Meghan’s guest appearance on MasterChef Australia during a visit to Australia earlier this year.

Meghan appeared on the main cooking programme at Melbourne Showgrounds in April while visiting Australia with Prince Harry. Junior MasterChef Australia, the children’s version of the competition, last aired six years ago. Meghan is also expected to appear alongside MasterChef Australia judge Poh Ling Yeow. The planned series gives Meghan a hosting role after her earlier appearance as a guest on the Australian programme.

The filming schedule would take Meghan back to Melbourne less than a year after her April visit. Prince Harry and the couple’s children, Archie and Lilibet, may join her, but their travel plans have not been confirmed. Meghan and Prince Harry reportedly moved back to the UK from California months before the planned filming. Australia and Canada had also been mentioned as possible places for the family to spend extended periods abroad.
