NETANYAHU DENIES PLAN TO FIRE MILITARY CHIEF EYAL ZAMIR

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denied on Monday that he intended to fire military chief Eyal Zamir. “I have no intention of firing the Chief of Staff, and we will continue working together for Israel's security,” he wrote on X. The denial came amid tensions between Israel’s political and military leadership over the campaign against Iran.

Defence Minister Israel Katz called the dismissal reports “a fabrication and complete lie” and said they were intended to harm Likud ahead of the elections.
