CORDERRO MCDANIEL FLIPS COMMITMENT FROM OLE MISS TO COLORADO

Corderro McDaniel, a 325lb offensive lineman, has switched his commitment from Ole Miss to Colorado. McDaniel, who originally pledged to Ole Miss on 20 April, made his decision following an official visit to Colorado on 5 June. He was recruited by Colorado offensive line coach Gunnar White. McDaniel thanked God and his family whilst announcing his commitment to the Buffaloes.

McDaniel held offers from multiple programmes including LSU, Arkansas, Kentucky and North Carolina. The prospect, from Brookhaven, Mississippi, stands 6ft 7in tall and previously competed as a multi-sport athlete with a shot put background. He won the Mississippi 5A State Championship twice. McDaniel became the fifth verbal pledge in the offensive trenches for Colorado's recruiting class.

McDaniel's commitment strengthened Colorado's class rankings to No. 33 nationally and the fourth-best class in the Big 12. The move represents a setback for Ole Miss during its coaching transition following the departure of former head coach Lane Kiffin. For Colorado, the acquisition comes as the programme seeks to improve following a 3-9 record in 2025.
