MARC CUCURELLA COMPLETES £52M TRANSFER TO REAL MADRID FROM CHELSEA

Marc Cucurella has completed his transfer from Chelsea to Real Madrid for £52 million. The Spanish defender moves to the La Liga club after his time at Chelsea. The transfer represents a significant move in the summer transfer window.

Cucurella joined Chelsea from Brighton and Hove Albion in 2022. The left-back made multiple appearances for Chelsea across the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. Real Madrid secured the player as part of their squad reinforcement this transfer window. The deal brings an end to Cucurella's time in the Premier League.

Real Madrid now have Cucurella on their roster for the upcoming season. The defender will compete for a starting position at the Spanish club. His arrival adds to Real Madrid's defensive options in the left-back position.
