ARMAGH TO FACE KERRY IN ALL-IRELAND THIRD ROUND

Armagh will travel to face Kerry in the third round of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, with the match scheduled for 20 or 21 June. Donegal will play Dublin in Dublin during the same round. Monaghan will take on Westmeath, whilst Mayo will host Meath in the other third-round fixtures. The winners of these four ties will progress to the quarter-finals.

Armagh qualified for the third round despite losing to Louth in Round 2A. Kerry advanced by defeating Kildare in Round 2B. Donegal reached this stage after losing to Cork, and now face a difficult away fixture at Dublin, who beat Cavan on Sunday. Tyrone, Cork, Galway and Louth have already secured quarter-final places by winning their Round 2A matches.

The quarter-finals will feature eight teams total. In the Tailteann Cup, Down and Fermanagh were drawn to face each other in the semi-finals at Croke Park on Saturday, 20 June, with the winner guaranteed a spot in the final. Offaly will play Wicklow in the other semi-final, with the victor of that tie meeting the Down-Fermanagh winner in the decider.
