OREGON AND OHIO STATE LIST ABSENTEES AHEAD OF COLUMBUS MATCH

FRI 06 NOV 2026 FOOTBALL

Oregon listed running back Jordon Davison and quarterback Dante Moore as out ahead of Saturday’s American football game against Ohio State in Columbus, according to its injury update. The Ducks listed receiver Jeremiah McClellan as probable following his absence with a broken foot. Ohio State added safety Deshawn Stewart to its out list on Thursday, while Oregon’s list remained unchanged. Analyst Bill Landis wrote on X: “The only change for the Buckeyes is that SAF Deshawn Stewart is listed as out.”

Oregon’s unavailable players also include Messiah Hampton, Andrew Olesh, Aaron Flowers, Brayden Platt, Matthew Johnson, Trent Ferguson and Dave Iuli, according to its list. McClellan suffered his injury during warmups before the Week 3 game against Portland State and has not played since 12 September. His season-opening figures included six receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown, according to the supplied match account. Evan Stewart and Dakorien Moore have led Oregon’s receivers during McClellan’s absence, with Stewart also missing two games.

Ohio State’s availability update indicates that nickelback Jay Timmons should return after missing three of its previous four games, while left tackle Ian Moore could also play. Timmons aggravated a hamstring injury against Indiana, prompting Jermaine Mathews Jr. to move inside and Cam Calhoun to take over at outside cornerback. Ohio State enters the fixture following a 30-18 defeat by USC, which also featured absences for safeties Leroy Roker III and Brenten “Inky” Jones. Under the Big Ten’s four-report schedule, Oregon expects to issue its next injury update at 5pm Pacific time on Friday.
