COURT HEARS ALISON MOORE SMEARED FAECES INTO HUSBAND’S MOUTH

Alison Moore wrestled her husband onto a bed and smeared her own faeces into his mouth during a row at their home in Damerham in the New Forest, Southampton Crown Court heard. Prosecutor Andrew Coley said Moore told her husband he talked “so much s***” and threatened to make him eat it. The court heard that the attack took place on 20 August after Moore accused him of failing to stand up for her. Mr Moore broke free, rushed to the bathroom and photographed himself before cleaning his mouth, Coley said.

Mr Moore told the court that his wife had previously struck his face while wearing a ring and hit his back with a broom handle. Photographs presented as evidence showed a cut above his eye, another small injury and redness on his back. The court heard that, three days after the broom attack, the couple argued about when to leave a pub. Staff refused Moore service at another pub on their journey home, and she subsequently called her husband “boring”, the court heard.

Police arrested Moore after the attack involving faeces, and she gave no comment during her interview, Coley said. She later submitted a written statement expressing what the prosecutor called “bare denial”. Mr Moore supplied a victim statement but asked the court not to read it aloud and said he did not support a restraining order. Judge Gary Lucie told Moore: “The use of faeces was a gratuitous degradation of the victim.”
