DAFNE KEEN SAYS SHE WAS OFFERED COCAINE AT 11 AT FILM WRAP PARTIES

Dafne Keen, who played Wolverine's young clone in the 2017 film Logan, has said she was offered cocaine at Hollywood wrap parties when she was 11 years old. She made the disclosure during an appearance on the Inside of You podcast with host Michael Rosenbaum. "I was getting offered coke at wrap parties," she said, adding that this happened when she was "like, tiny. Like 11, 12, 13." Keen, now 21, said she always declined. "I was saying no, fortunately," she told Rosenbaum.

Keen was 11 while filming Logan, playing the biological daughter of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine character, and 12 when the film was released. She has since appeared in His Dark Materials, Star Wars: The Acolyte and Deadpool & Wolverine. She told Rosenbaum she avoids alcohol as an adult because she witnessed so much substance use as a child actor that she has no interest in it. She said she still goes out for "the vibes" of music and dancing but stays sober. As a teenager, she said, she lied about having already taken something to avoid being pressured into drinking.

Keen also described working alongside Jackman, with whom she shared most of her scenes in Logan. She said he gave her "a lot of really positive reinforcement and a lot of really good advice" throughout filming. "He's the best number one you could ever wish for, and he's the best onscreen dad," she said, describing him as a parental figure on set. Keen said Jackman made sure no one abused her working hours and kept her unaware of any tensions behind the scenes. She called him "incredibly protective and amazing" during filming.
