LEBRON JAMES SIPS FAN'S DRINK AFTER COURTSIDE COLLISION

LeBron James drank from a fan's cup after crashing into courtside seats during the Philadelphia 76ers' home game against the Chicago Bulls at the Xfinity Mobile Arena. The moment happened in the third quarter as James chased down a ball that had gone out of bounds, running into the crowd and knocking into a spectator. He took the fan's drink, took a sip, handed it back and returned to the court without stopping play. The 76ers went on to win the game 126–107. It marked James's 24th NBA season.

The fan involved, named as Troy Clemons, a long-time Sixers supporter, described the exchange afterwards. "LeBron crashed into me; he grabbed me, he said, 'My bad.' My drink spilled everywhere, he took my drink from me, and he basically just took a sip of it and gave it back and ran back on the court," Clemons said. He did not disclose what was in the cup, calling it simply "whatever this beverage is". Clemons said he was not concerned about the spill, adding: "I'm here to have a good time."

Clemons said he later threw the cup away despite suggestions from others online that he should have kept it as a memento. "At the end of the day, he's another man like me, and he's a regular… I mean, he's LeBron, but at the end of the day, I threw that cup in the trash, and it's nothing up with him," he said. The exchange was filmed by fans inside the arena and circulated widely afterwards. ESPN's Sixers reporter, Kris Rhim, interviewed Clemons courtside following the final buzzer.
