HELEN FLANAGAN CLASHES WITH TRAFFIC WARDEN OVER PARKING TICKET
Helen Flanagan has said she is "probably going to be arrested" after a clash with a traffic warden in Manchester, having been given a parking ticket despite paying for her space. The actress, known for her role in Coronation Street, described the confrontation in a video posted on social media. She said she saw the warden attempting to ticket the car and told him she had already paid, but he issued the ticket regardless. "I am due my period so hell hath no fury if you get my wrath," she said. She added that she called the warden "the most horrible man I've ever met" and told him it would be "karma" for him.
Flanagan said the ticket arose from an error made when entering the registration of a courtesy car, as she typed the letter "O" instead of zero because the vehicle was not her own. In the video, one of her children said they did not want to return to the car, and Flanagan said her children believed she might be arrested over the confrontation. "I might, actually," she said. Flanagan is the mother of three children, whom she shares with her former partner, Scott Sinclair.
Flanagan and Sinclair were together for more than 13 years before their engagement ended in October 2022. She last appeared on Coronation Street in 2018. Sinclair shared a photograph on social media of their son, Charlie, wearing an oxygen mask after a hospital visit, captioning the post "my little soldier" without giving further details. Flanagan has also written on social media about the "mum guilt" she feels while co-parenting alongside her career.
