ROMESH RANGANATHAN AND SEBASTIAN CROFT WIN CELEBRITY TRAITORS 2026
Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft won The Celebrity Traitors 2026, securing £83,000 for their chosen charities. The pair were the last Faithful contestants after the final votes eliminated the remaining Traitor and other Faithful players. Claudia Winkleman hosted the BBC programme at Ardross Castle, where 21 celebrities took part in its second charity series. The final episode began with seven contestants still in the game, including Traitors Maya Jama and King Kenny.
The other five finalists were Faithfuls James Blunt, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Michael Sheen, Ranganathan and Croft. Kenny selected Sheen for murder in the game, while the players banished Pinnock and Jama. A tied vote between Kenny and Blunt left Ranganathan and Croft to decide which player to remove. Croft persuaded Ranganathan to banish Kenny, leaving no Traitors in the game. Blunt then voted for another banishment, and Ranganathan and Croft eliminated him before ending the game.
James Acaster, a recruited Traitor, confessed his identity at the roundtable in the preceding episode. Sheen had questioned Acaster about his involvement in Ross Kemp’s elimination earlier in the series. In a statement about Acaster, the BBC said its “highest priority is always the safety and welfare of everyone taking part”. A BBC spokesperson said a dedicated welfare team monitored and supported players during production. Alan Carr won the first celebrity series in 2025 as a solo Traitor, raising £87,500 for Neuroblastoma UK.
