HAKIMI LEADS PSG TO 5-1 WIN OVER LE HAVRE

SAT 31 OCT 2026

Achraf Hakimi scored three goals and set up two more as Paris Saint-Germain beat Le Havre 5-1 in Ligue 1 on Friday. Josh Maja gave Le Havre an early lead at Stade Oceane after Rayan Fofana crossed from the right. Hakimi then set up Mika Godts to equalise in the 26th minute. Two minutes later, Senny Mayulu released Hakimi, who beat goalkeeper Arnaud Bodart at his near post. A video review overturned an initial offside decision and allowed the goal to stand.

Hakimi scored again from a free kick in the 55th minute and assisted Mayulu for PSG’s fourth goal seven minutes later. His deflected effort in the 69th minute completed the first hat-trick of his senior career. PSG had rotated five starters from Monday’s 2-0 win over Lyon, while injuries kept Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia out. Luis Enrique said PSG had struggled with Le Havre’s counter-attacks before taking control of the match. “We created lots of chances and saw our players perform at a very high level, so we're happy,” the PSG head coach said.

The victory extended PSG’s winning run to nine matches across all competitions. Ligue 1 standings placed PSG first with 20 points from nine matches, two ahead of Lille and four ahead of Rennes. Lille beat RC Lens 1-0 through an 86th-minute goal from Olivier Giroud, while Nice beat Rennes 5-2 with three goals from Elye Wahi. Le Havre remained bottom on two points after a fifth consecutive defeat. PSG’s win over Le Havre marked their sixth successive league victory.
