NETFLIX ANNOUNCES TYSON FURY DOCUMENTARY

FRI 30 OCT 2026 INTERNATIONAL

Netflix has announced a documentary about Tyson Fury that will be released on 27 November. A trailer shows Fury discussing his mental health after his 2015 victory over Wladimir Klitschko. “I achieved all my childhood dreams, but my whole point of existence had been taken away. I didn’t want to live,” Fury says. The film follows his life from childhood through his boxing career. It includes interviews with Fury, his wife Paris and his father John.

Fury says beating Klitschko had become “an obsession” before their fight. Paris describes how he focused on training and says his behaviour changed after the victory. “The Tyson that I knew was gone, and I was so scared,” she says in the trailer. John says the effect of the win on his son ran deeper than he had imagined. The documentary also addresses addiction, the loss of a child and Fury’s family relationships.

Lucy Wilcox directed the film, drawing on access to Fury and his family, according to Netflix. Wilcox previously worked on *Our Family and Autism*, a documentary featuring Paddy McGuinness and Christine McGuinness. Fury has also appeared in two seasons of Netflix’s *At Home With the Furys*. The release comes before Fury’s scheduled fight with Anthony Joshua at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in December. Netflix describes the new documentary as offering “an unusually vulnerable perspective” on Fury.
