SAVANNAH CHRISLEY DEFENDS UNBORN CHILD AFTER FIANCÉ'S CONVICTION EMERGES
Savannah Chrisley addressed her unborn child on Instagram Stories after the identity and criminal record of her fiancé, Jason Galanis, became public. Chrisley announced on Tuesday that she was engaged and expecting her first child. She shared a sonogram alongside a message to the baby. “You are not a headline. You are not a controversy,” she wrote. Her message followed attention to Galanis’s involvement in two fraud schemes.
Chrisley had dated Galanis for just over a year when she announced the engagement and pregnancy. She did not identify him in the initial announcement. Galanis received a prison sentence of more than 15 years in 2020 for his involvement in two multimillion-dollar fraud schemes. The case involved a federal fraud conviction in the United States. Chrisley’s subsequent message addressed the attention surrounding his past.
Chrisley wrote that the child was not defined by “anyone’s past, anyone’s mistakes, or anyone’s opinions”. She called the baby “innocent, deeply loved” and described the child as a blessing entrusted to her and Galanis by God. She also called the child her “answered prayer”. Chrisley said she would never apologise for celebrating the baby.
