ROCHELLE HUMES DISMISSES FRANKIE BRIDGE FEUD RUMOURS
Rochelle Humes has denied rumours that she fell out with Frankie Bridge after The Saturdays stopped performing together. She said the two remain in regular contact and share a WhatsApp group with their former bandmates. “Me and Frankie speak all the time,” Humes said. She also said the group has no immediate plans to reunite because its members struggle to find time to meet for dinner. Humes said they all retain “so much respect for The Saturdays”.
The rumours followed claims that Humes and Bridge ignored each other at Wimbledon in 2025. Humes said they had lunch, talked for hours and ate strawberries together before speaking to other people. She said they later exchanged messages about the claims. Humes attended the tennis with her husband, Marvin Humes. She also said Bridge recently spoke by video call with her son Blake, who had been watching videos of the group.
Humes and Bridge first performed together in S Club Juniors before joining Mollie King, Vanessa White and Una Healy in The Saturdays. The group was active from 2007 until 2014 and released songs including “Ego”, “Up” and “Higher”. Humes said the members had not been invited to take part in the BBC documentary *Girlbands Forever*. On the suggestion that a dispute had prevented a reunion, she said: “We just laughed about it, because it’s so far from the truth.”
