The National Lottery’s announced results for Saturday, 24 October 2026, list 22, 47, 48, 49, 55 and 59 as the first set of Lotto numbers. The bonus ball for that set was 13. The second set comprised 08, 09, 17, 18, 20 and 42, with 11 as its bonus ball. Thunderball drew 18, 21, 33, 35 and 37, with 02 as the Thunderball. Lotto scheduled its draw for 8pm, followed by Thunderball at 8.15pm. Ticket sales closed at 7.30pm, and a Lotto ticket cost £2. According to the prize details, a player who matched all six main Lotto numbers would win the jackpot. Those details put the prize for five main numbers and the bonus ball at £1 million. They listed £1,750 for a ticket matching five main numbers.
Lotto holds draws on Wednesdays and Saturdays, making Wednesday its next scheduled draw day. EuroMillions draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays, while Set For Life draws take place on Mondays and Thursdays. An earlier Lotto draw awarded a £4 million jackpot to one player, according to the results update. The first National Lottery draw took place on 19 November 1994, when seven winners shared a £5,874,778 jackpot. A historical account accompanying the results identifies £42 million, won in 1996, as the largest prize awarded to a single ticket holder.
