RIC FLAIR SHARES HEALTH UPDATE AFTER FALL

Ric Flair was taken to hospital by ambulance after falling outside a restaurant in Florida on Friday afternoon. The fall cut his head and eye. His daughter, Charlotte Flair, later posted an update about his condition on social media. Ric Flair also shared a photograph and a health update after the fall.

Charlotte’s update referred to a 1993 wrestling match in which the Ultimate Warrior suplexed Ric Flair, causing him to land on his head. The move dislodged an inner-ear chip and affected his balance for months. Ric Flair, whose real name is Richard Morgan Fliehr, has worked in professional wrestling for more than 50 years. He has won numerous world titles and belongs to the NWA Hall of Fame and the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame.

Ric Flair is signed to All Elite Wrestling as an ambassador and makes special appearances for the organisation. Charlotte Flair also wrestles for WWE. Before the fall, Ric Flair apologised on social media for cancelling a scheduled appearance at Washington State Horror Con. Charlotte wrote: “Not my dad telling the doctor he fell bc of [the Ultimate] Warrior dropping him on his head …(Ps: he’s going to be ok).”
