CHLOE SIMS HOLDS TALKS OVER TOWIE SPIN-OFF

Chloe Sims has held meetings with producers about returning to TOWIE for a proposed spin-off, according to a person familiar with the discussions. The planned series would bring former cast members to Indonesia to speak with therapists about their personal struggles and experiences. Producers intend to focus on mental health and wellness. The person said Sims was interested in the format because it differs from the main programme. “It’s not a done deal yet,” the person said.

Sims left the ITV reality series in 2022 after appearing on it for 11 years. She then moved to Los Angeles with her siblings Frankie, Demi and Charlie Sims. The family launched a separate reality series, House of Sims. TOWIE featured Sims’s relationships, family disputes and arguments with other cast members during her time on the programme. The proposed spin-off would give her a route back to the franchise, the person said.

Producers want to involve other familiar TOWIE cast members in the project, according to the account of their plans. Gemma Collins and James Argent are among those linked to the proposed series. The person said the therapy format could allow Sims to return without taking part in the arguments associated with her earlier appearances. The meetings have not resulted in an agreement for Sims to appear, the person said.
