PUKA NACUA LEAVES RAMS PRACTICE WITH CALF INJURY

FRI 23 OCT 2026 US SPORTS

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua left practice early with a calf injury. The Rams had no immediate update on its seriousness. The team placed fellow wide receiver Davante Adams on injured reserve two days earlier. Nacua has already missed two games this season with hip and groin injuries. Adams played during those absences, so the Rams could face a game without both receivers if Nacua cannot play.

Season figures put Nacua and Adams on a combined 67 catches, compared with 13 for all the Rams’ other wide receivers. Nacua led the NFL with 129 catches last season. This season, he has averaged 9.3 catches per game, his highest career rate. Adams’ move to injured reserve followed those two games in which the Rams had him available while Nacua was out.

The Rams take a 2-4 record into Sunday’s away game against Las Vegas. They are 3.5-point favourites for the fixture. Nacua’s availability for the game remained unclear after he left practice. His calf injury adds to the Rams’ receiving concerns following Adams’ move to injured reserve.
