JAMES ACASTER DATES PODCAST PRODUCER HANNAH ROSE

Comedian James Acaster has been dating podcast producer Hannah Rose for several years. They met while working on James Acaster’s Perfect Sounds, which ran for two series from 2020 to 2022. Rose previously worked in commissioning and development for BBC Comedy and BBC Sounds. The couple live together and care for four cats named Terry, Alex, Roo and Spider-Man.

Acaster described their daily routine in a recent newsletter interview, saying: “The cats wake us up around 6.30am.” He said he feeds them before collecting bircher muesli and filter coffee to eat with Rose. Acaster said he usually puts off exercise until 5pm, when he does yoga and goes to the gym. He said the couple feed the cats again in the evening and usually look for a film to watch.

Acaster and Rose joined Ed Gamble, Nish Kumar and their partners for Gamble’s birthday meal at London’s Quality Chop House in March. The six ate steak before visiting a nearby snooker bar. Amy Annette, Kumar’s partner, shared a photograph in February showing Acaster and Rose at Tottenham Court Road Tube station after her birthday celebrations. Acaster previously dated actress Louise Ford, who appeared alongside Rowan Atkinson in the 2013 West End production of Quartermaine’s Terms.
