KYLE WALKER SAYS HE WOULD REMOVE CITY TITLE TATTOO
Kyle Walker said he would probably remove his “four in a row” tattoo if Manchester City lost the Premier League titles it marks. The Burnley defender discussed the tattoo with Andy Goldstein on talkSPORT. Goldstein asked whether Walker had arranged to remove it if his medals were taken away. “Well I'm probably going to have to do that bit!” Walker replied. The tattoo on his leg marks City's four consecutive league titles.
Walker played for Manchester City from 2017 to 2025. Figures for his City haul range from 15 to 17 major trophies, including six Premier League titles. The club has appealed after an independent panel found it had breached 114 Premier League financial rules. The case included accusations that City inflated their income through sponsorship deals described as “sham” arrangements. Manchester City has consistently denied wrongdoing.
Possible punishments include a substantial fine, a points deduction, a transfer embargo and the removal of titles won during the period covered by the charges. A sufficiently large points deduction could send Manchester City into the Championship. A further deduction has been raised as a possibility that could leave the club in the second tier for another season. The English Football League would have discretion over whether to apply that further deduction. Manchester City currently lead the Premier League.
