ROSEANNE BARR RECOUNTS LISA MARIE PRESLEY'S CLAIM ABOUT MICHAEL JACKSON

Roseanne Barr said Lisa Marie Presley told her that Michael Jackson was her favourite sexual partner. “She said he was the best lay she ever had,” Barr said in an interview published on Tuesday, 20 October. Barr said Presley told her Jackson said “all the things girls want to hear”. Barr said she became close friends with Presley in the 1990s.

Presley and Jackson married in May 1994 and divorced in August 1996. Barr said Presley also discussed Nicolas Cage and described previous partners in intimate detail. Barr said she believed Presley’s account because, in her view, Presley did not lie about such matters. Presley’s posthumously published memoir, *From Here to the Great Unknown*, discusses her marriage to Jackson. In the book, Presley wrote that Jackson laid the groundwork for their relationship before they had spoken.

Presley died in 2023, and Jackson died in 2009. Barr said she also spent time with Sandra Bernhard and Madonna during her friendship with Presley. Barr gave the interview while promoting *Meemaw: A Modern Day Fable*, a television project she financed herself. At the time of the interview, no network had scheduled the programme for release. Barr also sided with Tom Arnold in a separate dispute over a claim in Chuck Lorre’s memoir about script writing attributed to Arnold.
