PACKERS LIST JORDAN LOVE AS LIMITED WITH BACK INJURY

THU 22 OCT 2026 FOOTBALL

The Packers listed Jordan Love as a limited participant because of a back injury on Wednesday. The team held a walk-through rather than a full practice, making its injury report an estimate. The update came ahead of Sunday’s game at Detroit. Matt LaFleur declined to give a decision on Love’s availability, saying, “We’ll see. We’ll work through it.” He added that Love had “to clear some hurdles yet before we get to that point”.

Love played every snap in the Packers’ 23-13 Week 6 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night. Reported figures for his first six games put him at 1,684 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and four interceptions. They put his completion rate at 60 per cent. LaFleur said, “We feel he’s in a pretty good spot.” He also said, “He’s been training but he’s missed the exposure to football.”

Receiver Bo Melton, who has a back injury, was the only Packers player listed as a non-participant on Wednesday. Receivers Christian Watson, Matthew Golden and Savion Williams received limited listings with ankle, shoulder and ankle injuries respectively. The Packers also listed Aaron Banks, Anthony Campbell, Brandon Cisse, Jordon Riley and Benjamin St-Juste as limited participants. Running back Josh Jacobs did not appear on the injury report following his return to the club. The Packers have not confirmed the severity of Love’s injury or whether he will play in Detroit.
