LIAM GALLAGHER HINTS AT NEW OASIS ALBUM

Liam Gallagher has hinted that Oasis may release an eighth studio album in a reply to a fan on X. The fan wrote: “Oasis have SEVEN great albums and those songs with LIVE FOREVER.” Gallagher responded: “8 including the new 1, I mean happy birthday.” His reply did not say whether Oasis had recorded new music or set a release date.

Oasis released their seventh studio album, Dig Out Your Soul, in 2008. The band split the following year after a backstage dispute between Liam and Noel Gallagher. The brothers performed together again on the Oasis Live ’25 tour, their first time on stage together in almost 16 years. The latest exchange follows a separate comment from Liam Gallagher last month about the possibility of making new music.

“Listen, if all goes well with the tour, I guess next step is to have a chat about new music,” Gallagher wrote on X last month. He added: “Can’t see us touring again unless we have new music.” Oasis have announced the Oasis Live ’27 tour, which includes five shows in Scotland next year. More than 11 million fans signed up for codes for the upcoming tour, according to the reported registration figure.
