DAVANTE ADAMS INJURES LEFT LEG IN RAMS LOSS TO CARDINALS
Davante Adams left the Los Angeles Rams’ Week 6 game against the Arizona Cardinals after injuring his left leg without contact. He pulled up while running a pass route towards the end zone, reached for his left knee and limped off the field. Adams had caught three passes for 39 yards before leaving. The Rams scored a go-ahead touchdown on their only subsequent offensive play, but Arizona drove for a winning field goal. The Rams gave no immediate update on Adams’s condition.
Adams has 30 catches for 480 yards and four touchdowns this season. He gained 195 yards against the Giants in Week 2 and 137 yards against the Broncos in Week 3. Puka Nacua, who had missed two games, caught six passes for 80 yards against Arizona. Three of Nacua’s catches, for 62 yards, came on the Rams’ final drive. The Rams’ other receivers include Konata Mumpfield, Jordan Whittington, Tutu Atwell, C.J. Daniels and Alex Bachman.
Rams coach Sean McVay did not address Adams’s injury at his post-match press conference because nobody asked him about it. Orthopaedist Maddox McCloud said he had “concern for a potential knee injury given the mechanism” and was awaiting an update. The Rams have not announced a diagnosis or said whether Adams will miss any games. Adams missed the final three games of the 2025 regular season with a hamstring injury before returning for the play-offs. He still led the NFL in touchdown catches that season.
