SAMIE ELISHI AND TYRIQUE HYDE ANNOUNCE FIRST CHILD

Love Island contestants Samie Elishi and Tyrique Hyde have announced that they are expecting their first child together. They shared the news in a social media video showing Elishi at an ultrasound appointment. The footage shows the pair looking at a sonogram and kissing. They used the song Forever My Lady in the video, and Elishi captioned her post with a white heart.

Elishi and Hyde met during January’s Love Island: All Stars series. Hyde had appeared in Love Island’s 2023 summer series and had previously called Elishi his top Islander. The pair were seen on a date in March. Dates given for their public confirmation of the relationship differ, placing it in either April or May 2026. Elishi had previously been in a relationship with Ciaran Davies. Accounts place their split either weeks after the 2023 winter series or in March 2026.

Hyde wrote alongside the announcement: “Don’t make a scene. Can’t wait for this next chapter. Love you @samieelishi.” Yasmin Pettet responded, “Congratulationsss guys,” and Ellie Chadwick wrote, “Congratulations guys!🥹” Dami Hope also congratulated the couple, calling them “my family” in his comment. Megan Fort Clarke posted a congratulatory message, while Joe Baggs wrote: “CONGRATS YOU TWO I’M BEAMING EAR TO EAR 😭😭😭.”
