WEEKLY HOROSCOPES FORECAST SCORPIO SEASON AND MERCURY RETROGRADE

Horoscopes for 19–25 October forecast the start of Scorpio season and Mercury retrograde. Nina Kahn says Venus retrograde clashes with Pluto early in the week, drawing attention to jealousy, control and possessiveness in relationships. A Cancer horoscope says interest in love and hobbies may grow later in the week. It calls the period beginning on 23 October a season of “what you love”. The forecasts give different dates for the Sun’s entry into Scorpio, ranging from Wednesday to Friday 23 October.

The forecasts also place the start of Mercury retrograde between Thursday and Saturday 24 October. Kahn places a conjunction of Venus and the Sun when the Sun enters Scorpio; the Cancer horoscope dates the conjunction to Saturday 24 October. The Cancer horoscope describes the alignment as Venus passing between Earth and the Sun. It says Venus began its retrograde on 3 October and treats the conjunction as that period’s halfway point. Kahn places Venus’s return to Libra on Friday and links it to questions about commitments and relationships.

The Cancer horoscope associates Scorpio with love, hobbies, play and children, and places the Sun there until 22 November. It suggests money and close relationships may occupy Cancer from Monday to Wednesday, followed by travel or learning through Friday. It advises readers to complete important communications by Friday morning and says Mercury retrograde lasts until 14 November. The horoscope says work may occupy Cancer’s thoughts over the weekend. Kahn says October’s full moon peaks late on Sunday, or early Monday for people on Eastern Time.
