JAVONTE WILLIAMS SCORES TOUCHDOWN AGAINST GREEN BAY PACKERS

MON 19 OCT 2026 US SPORTS

Javonte Williams scored a one-yard touchdown for the Dallas Cowboys against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. The running back reached the end zone early in the second half to give Dallas its first points of the game. Green Bay still led 17-7 after the touchdown. The score followed a Cowboys possession that began when the Packers failed to gain a first down.

Dallas had trailed 17-0 at half-time. Green Bay received the kick-off to start the third quarter and took the first possession after the break. An offensive holding penalty on the opening play set back the Packers’ drive. Green Bay then went three-and-out, giving the Cowboys the ball with an opportunity to respond to their 17-point deficit.

Dallas gained 46 yards in seven plays on the drive that ended with Williams’s touchdown. The Cowboys kept the possession going by converting a fourth-and-two with a pass to CeeDee Lamb. Tucker Kraft returned to the game after suffering an apparent leg injury late in the second quarter. Kraft’s return and the Cowboys’ touchdown both came after a first half in which Green Bay had built its lead.
