GLASNER REPORTS GIBBS-WHITE DOUBT FOR ARSENAL MATCH
Oliver Glasner says Morgan Gibbs-White is doubtful for Nottingham Forest’s Premier League match against Arsenal on Sunday. Glasner said Gibbs-White suffered a minor muscle injury during Forest’s 3-1 defeat at Crystal Palace last weekend. Gibbs-White has not trained with the squad this week, according to Glasner. The midfielder completed an individual session with Forest’s rehabilitation coaches and could join the next team session. Glasner said: “It doesn’t seem too serious, so there is a chance he will be available.”
Gibbs-White has played every minute of Nottingham Forest’s Premier League season so far, including the full match against Crystal Palace. Forest have won one of their first six league games under Glasner and sit 15th in the table. Arsenal visit as the defending Premier League champions. Glasner said he would assess how Gibbs-White responds to the next training session before making a final decision on his availability.
Glasner also confirmed that Nicolo Savona and Igor Jesus will miss the Arsenal match. Nikola Milenkovic returned to training after missing Forest’s previous three matches. Glasner said Milenkovic could make the matchday squad, depending on how he responds to training. He said Milenkovic had been out for several weeks.
