BONNIE WRIGHT ANNOUNCES BIRTH OF SECOND SON

Bonnie Wright has announced the birth of her second son with her husband, Andrew Lococo. Wright said Aster Sky Wright Lococo was born at home on 28 September. She said they named him after a star-shaped flower. In an Instagram post on 17 October, Wright shared a photograph of Aster sleeping and another showing their older son, Elio, looking at him from a pram. “Our little star has been showered in love by his big brother Elio,” she wrote.

Wright played Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films. She and Lococo married in March 2022 and welcomed Elio in September 2023. Wright also said Elio was born at home. She announced her second pregnancy in April with a photograph showing Elio lying on her lap. “Our second little earthling [is] joining us this autumn!!” she wrote at the time.

In a May Instagram post, Wright described caring for a toddler while pregnant with her second child. “Second pregnancy definitely hits different,” she wrote. She said she had felt nauseous or dizzy and had sought a connection with the baby she was carrying. After Aster’s birth, Wright thanked her midwife for “guiding us through the birth portal”. Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films, responded to the announcement with the message: “Congratulations Bonnie and Andrew!!!”
