OSPREYS SIGN AUSTRALIA CENTRE FOKETI

FRI 12 JUN 2026 RUGBY

Lalakai Foketi has signed with Ospreys ahead of the 2026-27 season. The Australia centre will join the Welsh regional rugby union side on a contract for that campaign. Foketi will link up with fellow Australians Ryan Smith and Liam Wright, who are already part of the Ospreys squad.

Foketi's arrival adds to Ospreys' roster of international players from the Southern Hemisphere. The centre's signing reflects the club's recruitment strategy for the upcoming season. Details regarding the length of Foketi's contract beyond the 2026-27 campaign were not disclosed.

The appointment strengthens Ospreys' depth in the backs division. Foketi joins an established contingent of Australian talent within the squad. His addition comes as the club prepares for fixtures in the 2026-27 season.
