COMMANDERS AND GIANTS TIE AFTER LATE OVERTIME MISCUES

The Washington Commanders and New York Giants finished their match tied after a sequence in overtime that squandered a chance for a Giants win. New York running back Cam Skattebo fumbled late in the extra period, handing Washington an opportunity to win. The Commanders failed to take it, with quarterback Jayden Daniels going down with eight seconds remaining in overtime. One report described Dan Quinn as furious while watching the sequence unfold.

Skattebo said he felt a "sigh of relief" once attention shifted away from his fumble and on to the Commanders' late mistakes, with focus moving to Daniels and Quinn instead.
