MET SPECIAL CONSTABULARY CHIEF SACKED OVER SEXUAL IMAGES ON WORK PHONE
The head of the Metropolitan Police's Special Constabulary has been dismissed after using his work phone to capture images of a sexual nature, the force said. According to the Daily Mail, AI software flagged the activity, and the images had originally been sent to him via WhatsApp's "View Once" function.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the dismissal but gave no further detail on the individual's identity or the circumstances surrounding the images.
