MIA GOTH FILES FOR DIVORCE FROM SHIA LABEOUF
Mia Goth has filed for divorce from Shia LaBeouf after ten years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences", according to a filing reported by TMZ. Goth filed the papers on Tuesday night, with the couple's date of separation listed on the documents as 28 July 2025. The pair met on the set of Nymphomaniac: Vol. II in 2012 and married in Las Vegas in October 2016. They separated two years later before reconciling around 2020, and their daughter, Isabel, was born in 2022. Goth is seeking primary legal and physical custody of Isabel and has asked the court to terminate its ability to award spousal support to either party.
News of the filing emerged a day after LaBeouf's former partner, the singer FKA twigs, settled a lawsuit against him, a settlement that her representatives say frees her to speak about her alleged experiences with him. Twigs first accused LaBeouf in 2020 of sexually, mentally and physically abusive behaviour during their relationship, which lasted around nine months in 2018; LaBeouf denied the allegations at the time. The settlement followed LaBeouf's agreement to end nondisclosure provisions that had been part of the couple's December 2025 settlement. Twigs' attorney, Mathew Rosengart, said the development came after LaBeouf's arbitration claim against Twigs, filed in December 2025 seeking money from her, was dismissed.
Rosengart said in a statement that the outcome "completely frees" Twigs to discuss her experience, to advocate for other women, and to support charitable causes she had previously been unable to back. Representatives for Goth and LaBeouf have not issued a public comment on the divorce filing. No court date for the divorce proceedings has been confirmed.
