HEAR'SAY AND LIBERTY X ANNOUNCE JOINT ARENA TOUR FOR 2027
Hear'Say and Liberty X, two groups formed on the television talent series Popstars, have announced a joint arena tour set for 2027. Hear'Say won the original 2000 series and comprised Danny Foster, Myleene Klass, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw and Noel Sullivan, selling three million records and scoring two UK number one singles before splitting up 18 months after forming. Klass is the only member not taking part in the reunion, telling Loose Women that she had been included in discussions but could not commit to the tour at this time. Liberty X, formed from finalists who lost the first series of Popstars, went on to achieve ten consecutive Top 20 singles before disbanding in 2007. All five Liberty X members, Michelle Heaton, Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Jessica Taylor and Kelli Young, will take part in the new tour.
The tour will span 13 dates in 2027, marking the first time the two groups have performed together, according to one report. Reported dates include stops in Dublin, London, Manchester and Leeds. The reunion comes 25 years after both groups first found fame through Popstars, which was rebranded Popstars: The Rivals for its second series.
In a joint statement, Hear'Say said coming back together after 25 years was "incredibly special" and described the tour as a chance to reconnect and celebrate their history. The statement added that sharing the stage with Liberty X made the milestone "even more special" and that both groups were looking forward to reconnecting with fans. Further details on ticket sales and the full list of tour dates have not yet been confirmed.
