JUSZCZYK AND FERGUSON WIN APPEALS OVER NFL CELEBRATION FINES

San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk has won his appeal against an NFL fine issued over a touchdown celebration in which he mimed drinking a beverage. The league had fined him $14,926, reportedly after deeming the celebration offensive, but the fine was overturned on appeal. Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson also had a fine for a similar drink-chugging celebration overturned. Reports suggest the NFL had misunderstood the nature of the celebrations when issuing the original fines.
