ODELL BECKHAM JR SIGNS WITH VIKINGS PRACTICE SQUAD AFTER GIANTS RELEASE

Odell Beckham Jr has signed with the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad, days after his release from the New York Giants, according to CBS Sports. The move gives the wide receiver a new opportunity in the NFL following his departure from the Giants. Terms of the agreement with the Vikings have not been detailed in reports of the signing.

Beckham Jr had been with the Giants, the team that originally drafted him, before his release this week. His practice squad move to Minnesota represents a step back into the league rather than an immediate return to an active NFL roster. Practice squad players typically train with a team without guaranteed appearances in regular season games unless promoted to the active roster.

The Vikings have not confirmed further details about Beckham Jr's role within the squad or any timeline for a potential promotion to the active roster. His signing follows a career that has included stints with multiple NFL franchises. Further updates on his status with Minnesota are expected as the season progresses.
