KNIFE ATTACK AT POLAND SCHOOL LEAVES MULTIPLE INJURED
A knife attack at a school in Ostroleka, northeastern Poland, left people injured on Wednesday, officials and police said. The town's mayor said ten people were hurt, while police told reporters seven people were injured in the attack with a sharp object. Masovian Regional Governor Mariusz Frankowski said nine people were taken to hospital, with none in a life-threatening condition.
Police detained a suspect shortly afterwards. One account said the suspect was among those injured, while another described the arrest of a man without further detail.
