FOUR NFL TEAMS REMAIN WINLESS AFTER FOUR WEEKS OF 2026 SEASON

TUE 06 OCT 2026 US SPORTS

Four weeks into the 2026 NFL season, a power-rankings analysis published this week placed the Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Chargers bottom of the 32-team list, each without a win after four games. The New York Jets, who have one win from four matches, were ranked just above them. The analysis said Week 4 produced fewer upsets than the previous week but featured tight finishes that affected the playoff picture for several teams. It ranked the Dolphins last overall, followed by the Titans, Buccaneers, Jets and Chargers.

The Dolphins lost 15-10 to the Minnesota Vikings, a result the analysis linked to having what it called the weakest roster in the league. The Titans lost 24-18 to the Baltimore Ravens, and the Buccaneers lost 17-14 to the Green Bay Packers while quarterback Baker Mayfield was out. The Jets lost 23-12 to the Chicago Bears, conceding almost 500 yards under head coach Aaron Glenn. The Chargers lost 30-23 to the Seattle Seahawks, having also played Buffalo and Seattle closely in recent weeks. The analysis said both Glenn and Jim Harbaugh face increasing scrutiny over results so far this season.

In Week 5, the Dolphins host the Cincinnati Bengals, the Titans face fellow winless side Houston Texans, and the Buccaneers travel to the Dallas Cowboys. The Jets host the Cleveland Browns, a game the analysis said could increase scrutiny of Glenn's position, while the Chargers face the Denver Broncos. Separately, a survivor-pool strategy column for Week 5 advised against selecting the Pittsburgh Steelers, citing projections from a computer model. Both assessments were published before the Week 5 games were played.
