EX-RAIDER WARNS TAYLOR SWIFT AHEAD OF CHIEFS-RAIDERS CLASH

SUN 04 OCT 2026 US SPORTS

Former Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Akbar Gbaja-Biamila issued a warning aimed at Taylor Swift ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs' Week 4 fixture against the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium. Speaking on Front Office Sports Tonight, Gbaja-Biamila said he would "come after" Chiefs fans wearing red colours at the game, before telling Swift directly, "Don't come." Swift, who is in a relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has regularly attended Chiefs games from a luxury box. A vintage red Chiefs tank top she wore to Kansas City's Week 2 home game against the Indianapolis Colts sold out on the Fanatics website within 15 minutes, according to the report. Both the Chiefs and the Raiders enter Sunday's match with 3-0 records.

Gbaja-Biamila's comments came during a discussion about Raiders supporters selling their tickets, which he said risks allowing Chiefs fans to fill Allegiant Stadium. He argued this would undermine the Raiders' home-field advantage, contrasting the atmosphere at the team's current Las Vegas home with what he described as the traditional environment at the franchise's former Oakland stadium, which he said carried a distinct smell that discouraged visiting teams. He said Raiders fans should hold onto their tickets given the stakes of a divisional meeting between two unbeaten teams.

The Chiefs-Raiders game forms part of an early-season battle for position in the AFC West, with both teams unbeaten through three weeks. Swift's attendance at Chiefs games has drawn sustained attention since her relationship with Kelce became public, according to the report. No further comment from Swift, Kelce or the Raiders organisation was included in the report.
